CHIN FILLER

This procedure is used for chin reconstruction with hyaluronic acid injections prepared for use.  It is a personalized treatment in which the filler amount, its durability, and the area of filling will be determined by the doctor along with the patient.

The chin should never be evaluated alone. It should be evaluated by considering the lip fullness, the shape and projection of the nose, the forehead area, the shape of the cheekbones, the grooves between the corner of nose and the mouth (nasolabial) and the corner of mouth and the chin (marionette).

The filler to be used may be selected based on durability. For lasting results, chin implant surgery is recommended after the procedure.

The areas of filling are determined, and necessary drawings are made. Collection of detailed patient anamnesis, patient examination, collection of the individual’s expectations, information about the procedure, photographing before the procedure, and evaluation of the results after the procedure are performed. No tests are required.

Any type of anesthesia is not required. The procedure is performed by using microinjection method or with the help of cannulas. The commonly used fillers contain local anesthetic agents. These agents inhibit pain formation during and after the procedure. The procedure takes 10-20 minutes.

Washing and dining are allowed half an hour after the procedure. Redness, ecchymosis or swelling may occur in the administration site after the filler administration, as in the toxin administration. Injection related pain is anticipated to be more due to the high content; however, most fillers contain local anesthetics and minimize the pain effect. One may get back to work on the next day.
