Carbon Peeling

What is Carbon Peeling?

Although the word peeling is a term generally used in skin peeling procedures, the process is not an aggressive application, but a skin rejuvenation system that is done every season. Carbon peeling is a method that is easily used in active acne treatment, pore tightening, treatment of old acne scars, and regulation of the skin's oil balance.

How is it applied?

After cleansing the skin, a carbon mask is applied to the application area. Wait for about 5 minutes. Then, Q-switched ND YAG laser energy is applied to the area and the carbon particles pushed into the pores are blasted in the second stage to tighten the pores. The procedure takes about 20 minutes. No pain is felt. No side effects are observed after a slight redness on the skin.

How Many Sessions Should Carbon Peeling Be Applied and What Are The Session Intervals?
  • Depending on the needs of the skin, 4 to 8 sessions are applied.
  • This procedure can be repeated every 7-10 days.
  • The procedure can also be done in summer.

To whom is it not applicable?
  • Pregnancy.
  • It is not applied if there is severe atopic dermatitis, open wound, infection in the area to be applied.
  • If there is a situation where acne-related cream or medication is used, the specialist should be informed. If necessary, it should be stopped a few days in advance.
