What is Ozone Therapy

Ozone gas is one of the strong oxidants consisting of three oxygen atoms.
Ozone Therapy is a treatment method applied under a much higher pressure than the atmosphere and in an environment containing 100% oxygen. Normally, there is 21% oxygen in the air. During ozone therapy, the amount of oxygen reaching the surrounding tissues increases as the amount of oxygen dissolved in the blood increases thanks to the oxygen rate increased up to 100% under high pressure. With the oxygenation of tissues, it aims to accelerate cell regeneration and metabolism.
Ozone therapy is an oxidative stress created by giving the patient's own blood subjected to ozone gas. The body activates antioxidant mechanisms, the immune system and other neurohumoral mechanisms against this controlled stress, a kind of "physiological vaccine" effect occurs.
